Never Lose Hope

Hope. Hope is that little feeling of desire and expectation inside of us. It causes us to eagerly be waiting for something in particular to happen. Hope leads us to believe that good things may happen. However, as humans it is so easy for us to lose our hope because we live in a world that is full of despair and disasters. Have you ever felt hope but then lost it? Have you ever wanted to be hopeful but just couldn't? Well, just know that you are not alone. I, along with many others in this world, have felt these same feelings. Believe me, having hope is hard, and it takes lots of practice!
Well, lucky for us because this week is all about hope and learning to be hopeful! This week is special because it is the first week of Advent! This first week invites us to share God's light with this world that is so full of hopelessness. Advent allows us to uniquely have the opportunity to practice being hopeful. This season is all about sharing God's light with this world that can become so dark at times. It is so important that we take this opportunity to celebrate hope. We should take this time to experience and practice being hopeful, so that we can exercise our spirituality.
I know that being hopeful is hard and difficult. Having hope is a gift, and it is something we should always be striving to earn. We should start turning to God in our times of despair and ask him for the gift of hope. We should keep our hope in God and know that he will always provide us with what we need. May we always walk toward His light, so that His most precious hope may make us whole.

Always stay hopeful, friends!

Have a lovely week!

Love always,
Gracie
