Prayer Requests

May 13, 2019

-Class of 2019, as we graduate this upcoming Saturday and as we enter into college and beyond
-In thanksgiving, for the best high school experience we could have ever received, for all the valuable life lessons, wisdom, and knowledge that St. Agnes Academy has instilled within in us, and for our teachers, faculty, and staff who has loved us endlessly, watched over us, and prepared us so well for the years to come.
-In thanksgiving, that God brought us all together as the SAA Class of 2019--He knew exactly what he was doing when he put us all together, and we should thank him endlessly for this sisterhood that will last us a lifetime. 
-for our families--and in thanksgiving for the sacrifices they have made for us and for the opportunities, experiences, and love they have given us 
-for all who have lost loved ones recently--may they feel God's most precious comfort
-for all who are less fortunate than we are
-for all who have lost loved ones recently--may they feel God's most precious comfort
-for the best and most successful college experience for each and everyone of the members of SAA's Class of 2019
-Finally, that college may not separate us completely--may we stay in touch, never forget where we came from, and always support our sisters in whatever life may bring <3

-Class of 2019, as we are quickly approaching the end of high school & moving towards college

-for the devastation that took place this past week in Paris with the burning of the Notre Dame Cathedral
-for all who were affected by the bombings in Sri Lanka

-for all who have no one to pray for them

-for all who are suffering from and being affected by cancer & other chronic illnesses
-for all who have lost loved ones recently--may they feel God's most precious comfort, especially the family of Philip Allen
-In thanksgiving, for the best news ever that we received when Jesus resurrected from the dead, and that we may feel free to share the profound hope and joy that we are given because of his Resurrection.

April 8, 2019 

-Class of 2019 and in thanksgiving for our sweet sisterhood
-in thanksgiving for a beautiful senior retreat last week as it was a beautiful celebration of the sisterhood we have been built the past four year; and also in thanksgiving for all who worked so hard for the success of this retreat
-in thanksgiving for a successful, memorable, and special Father/Daughter Dance last Friday night for all seniors and their fathers, and also in thanksgiving for everyone who has helped in the planing and executing of the event
-for all who are suffering from and being affected by cancer--may they feel hope and God's love 
and comfort
-for all who have lost loved ones recently--may they feel God's most precious comfort
-that we may realize how incredibly special and purposeful each of our stories are, and may we never take for granted how blessed we are to have our stories uniquely written by the Father who always has our best interests at heart

March 25, 2019 

-Class of 2019 as we are working towards graduation
-for all who are preparing for the play this weekend--may God comfort them and give them all the strength and confidence they need!
-In thanksgiving for a wonderful Woman's Work event today and for all the women in our workforce who are actively advocating for all women and equality
-for all who are suffering from and being affected by cancer--may they feel hope and God's love 
and comfort
-that we may have the courage to champion others and build others up on their platforms and set them on high so that all may feel encouraged and cheered for in their everyday lives

March 18, 2019 

-Class of 2019 as we complete our last quarter at the Academy
-that God will bless the stress of our week 
-In thanksgiving for the gift of a spring break this past week
-for a safe, fun, and successful prom this Saturday
-for all who are suffering from and being affected by cancer--may they feel hope and God's love 
and comfort
-for a lovely and meaningful Mother/Daughter Luncheon this Friday for all of us seniors and our mothers, and in thanksgiving for all the beautiful souls who have worked so hard for the success of the event 
-that we may openly dance with Jesus and take all of our steps with him realizing that he is with us every step of the way

-Class of 2019
-that God will bless the stress of our week 
-for our nation's leaders--past, present, and future--may they lead in ways that point us towards Christ
-for all who are suffering from and being affected by cancer--may they feel hope and God's love 
and comfort
-for the gift of confidence--that when we are losing our faith may God build us back up in confidence and remind us of who we are in Him 
-that our hope and confidence is found in Christ alone

January 27, 2019 

-Class of 2019
-for all who have been affected by the government shutdown
-for all of our grandparents, who we will honor and celebrate this Wednesday 
-for all those who are injured or hospitalized 
-that whenever we fall we are gifted the courage to get back up and keep on going
-that we may stand firm in the understanding that God will always be there to support us when we fall

January 6, 2019 

-Class of 2019--especially as we approach all of the exciting events, particularly graduation
-for a beautiful second semester--giving it our all as we work towards our goals
-for a joyous 2019 for everyone filled with God's abundant grace, celebrations, and situations that lead us closer to God
-In thanksgiving for the break we recently had off from school to spend with our friends and family 
-that we are always reminded of how significantly important it is that we experience "rain" in this new year in order to feel God truly working in our lives
-That we may always remember how beautiful new beginnings are and what a lovely reflection they are of God's everlasting plans for our lives.

-for all who were affected by the California wildfires--may they feel God's comfort and peace
-for our country and its leaders
-In thanksgiving for a break off from school to spend with our friends and family 
-that we may always remember that despite our bumps and bruises we are God's chosen loved ones

-for all of our Veterans, past and present, may they feel and may we show our gratefulness for them and their service 
-a Happy Thanksgiving for all filled with lots of love, blessings, family, and friends
-for all who have nobody to spend and celebrate Thanksgiving with
-safe travels for all who will be traveling during Thanksgiving
-for all the poor and homeless 
-for us to learn to be more grateful for all our many blessings
-for us to ALWAYS remember that we are His

-for our diocese as we are in transition from one bishop to another

-for all the sick and hospitalized, may they feel God's healing and comfort 
-for us to learn to be more selfless and less selfish

-for all who are experiencing trauma from Hurricane Michael 
-for all the children at St. Jude and their families
-for all who are experiencing unjust treatment whether that be here in the U.S. or in other countries
-for all who have recently lost loved ones, especially the Bowen Family 
-for us to have the courage to quit giving up when God has much bigger plans for our lives

-for Mrs. Valdez--that she has a safe delivery and quick recovery 
-for Gracie's grandmother who is recovering from surgery
